Waitākiri/Bottle Lake Forest Park

This extensive pine plantation runs alongside the coast in the north-east of the city and offers a myriad of tracks for mountain-biking, horse-riding, and walking.

Logging

Additional logging will take place on the week of Monday 16 February between Golf Road, 20th Ave, India Road and 17th Ave. One walking track will be rerouted to avoid the affected area.

Please be aware that logging trucks will be operating on forestry roads out to Landfill Ave. Take care when crossing or using these roads.
